Children learn best when they are happy and in good health. Teachers can be most effective when they understand the health status and needs of their students and can adapt instructional programs accordingly. The Health Services Department exists to assist in promoting healthy living conditions. 

If you have any questions about health concerns of your child that you feel may impact their educational experience, please do not hesitate to contact your school nurse.

Many schools have full-time nurses on their staff – all schools have some amount of nurse time in their building. If your school does not have a full-time nurse, ask the office staff which days(s) the nurse will return.
